This position will Provide overall direction, management, supervision, and technical support to contract administration personnel on bridge/highway construction projects. Administer assigned construction projects by accomplishing required construction engineering and contract administration duties, including supervising assigned MnDOT employees.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify, Engineer Senior applicants must meet all the following:

Licensure as a professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). (If obtaining licensure through Comity, a temporary permit from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.)


To qualify, Engineer 2 Graduate applicants must meet all the following:

A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.

A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.

Two years post-graduation civil engineering work.

Education:

A master’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university substitutes for one year of post-graduate civil engineering work.
