Now Hiring: Advanced Practice Provider Resident Director, Integrated Care Center
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Perm, FTE only. This is not a contract.
- Salary ($210-225K max) + Benefits
- We have partnered with an organization that handles outpatient services specializing in treatment mental health & substance use disorders with treatment & skills groups, as well as community resources. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Residency is a two-year transition to practice training program with this particular company.
- The APPRD is an expert primary care nurse practitioner or physician assistant who will blend direct primary care provider responsibilities with clinical leadership and organizational support.
- Required: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Certified Nurse Midwife); Master’s or Doctorate in Science (Physician Assistant).
- Required: Possession of a current, valid California Registered Nurse License; and Possession of a California Nurse Practitioner Certificate; OR Possession of a current, valid California License to practice as a Physician Assistant issued by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
- Required: BLS certification.
- Required: Clinical experience with and commitment to working with diverse client populations including the homeless, persons with substance abuse and mental health issues.
- Required: 5 years as a Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant. 2 years of experience as an APP lead or manage
- Required: Evidence of progressive leadership experience.
- Required: Minimum 2 years of experience with APP residency as a preceptor or other equivalent academic teaching experience.
- Required: Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self-sufficiency.
- Preferred: Experience with EPIC EMR; Bilingual in Spanish or other Medicaid threshold language.
