Nexus Talent Connect is seeking a Business Litigation Associate to join a dynamic and nationally recognized litigation team in Chicago


We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with three to five years of experience in complex commercial litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of litigation matters for a national and international client base, including consumer and privacy class actions, white collar defense and investigations, and multi-district or multi-forum litigation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in all phases of general commercial, civil, and business litigation, from inception to resolution.
  • Participate actively in complex litigation procedures, including the discovery process and e-discovery.
  • Prepare and manage legal documents, motions, and briefs in relation to commercial litigation matters.
  • Conduct depositions, hearings, and oral arguments as necessary.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring their interests are effectively represented in court.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different offices to deliver comprehensive litigation solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Three to five years of experience in a litigation-based practice, with a strong emphasis on litigation procedures.
  • Experience in consumer and privacy class actions, white collar defense, and/or multi-district or multi-forum litigation.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and superior writing and analytical abilities.
  • Active membership in the state bar.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in deposition, hearing, and oral argument.
