Position Overview

Amundsen Davis is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to enhance its Tort Litigation team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed attorney in Illinois with a minimum of one year of experience in civil litigation.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will:

  • Engage in all facets of litigation, including oral and written discovery.
  • Participate actively in motion practice and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings and responses to written discovery.
  • Conduct depositions and maintain effective communication with clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive case evaluations regarding liability, damages, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong communication abilities and excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficient writing skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work.
