Job Purpose

Support success of MESD Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Asset Condition Management (ACM) program by pursuing asset uptime improvements through the use predictive maintenance technologies.  Grow awareness of proper machine operation and early warning of developing problems to prevent production interruptions.  Promote the value of predictive technologies within the company.  Work with all departments throughout the plant to identify and mitigate loss by utilizing and applying PdM technologies.  Support new asset deployment and PdM technology implementation.  Engage with Regional PdM to ensure consistent use of predictive technology.



Key Accountabilities

  • Execution of defined PdM strategies and activities
  • Implementation of new PdM technical strategies and activities
  • Analysis of asset condition data
  • Regional PdM collaboration and benchmarking for PdM technology and best practices
  • RCA, CM development, and Troubleshooting support
  • Develop capability of self through formal and internal training



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • BS or 2 yr technical degree (Robotics, Equipment, Electrical, Mechanical) w/experience or equivalent engineering / maintenance experience
  • 2+ years operation and recovery of manufacturing equipment
  • Advanced problem-solving skills: ability to analyse problems to determine root cause and implement countermeasures
  • Clearly and concisely document thoughts, ideas, requirements, and problems
  • Interpersonal and systems/technical leadership 
  • Respond effectively to unusual demands and special projects
  • Support business planning and project leadership
  • Ability read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Monitor and ensure safety compliance
  • Work effectively in a team environment



Workstyle

  • Flexible Work Hours/Schedule
  • General Office areas & production areas
  • Potential Exposure to chemicals, solvents, Hyd. Oil, Confined Space.
  • Travel – up to four times per year/one week per event and some daily travel to other plants
  • 5~10 hours of OT Weekly
  • Weekend/Shutdown work may be required
