JOB OPPORTUNITY:

INDUSTRY: Commercial Banking

POSITION: Relationship Manager

LOCATION: Manhattan, NY.


Responsibilities:

Local Lending Business Development

  • Generate local loan business in designated markets and industries in accordance with credit policies & procedures
  • Achieve assigned loan volume, pricing and quality targets
  • Maintain good customer rapport to ensure high level business and credit information, increase or retain existing customer business, or solicit new business

Credit Risk Management

  • Prepare credit authorization sheet & related credit analysis for all new loans according to Bank required quality & format
  • As required by the Bank's loan policies and procedures, prepare loan customer credit reviews
  • Regularly review & evaluate risk of all loans within portfolio to prevent sub-standard or worse classification
  • Immediately report, recommend & act upon deteriorating portfolio loan accounts

Deposit & Other Product Sales

  • Cross sell all banking products and services to loan customers
  • Achieve assigned targets for deposit & other banking products & services

Product Development & Others

  • Recommend, research, report, and complete assigned new product development in a timely manner
  • Familiarize with Bank products and actively participate in Bank promotional campaigns

Supervision

  • Provide supervision and training to assigned associates
  • Supervise productivity and working attitude of associates
  • Complete other independent assignments designated by supervisor


Requirements:

  • 5+ experience in accounting department/accounting firm; banking industry preferred
  • New business development expereince required
  • Bachelor's in finance, accounting, or other business-related major
  • Mandarin speaking preferred
  • Excellent Excel skill

  • Standard office environment. Noise level in work environment is usually average. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional off site client meetings and site visits.
