The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for Government Relations activities relating to EUC business priorities, with an emphasis on Federal IT policy, procurement, acquisition reform, supply chain and related national security issues before Congress and the federal agencies while supporting our public sector business strategy. You will work closely with our public sector team and internal business units. The goals of our team is to impact the business and expand EUC’s thought leadership and influence in U.S. Federal IT procurement and public sector policy, including cybersecurity. You will create and execute on a government relations strategy that impacts EUC’s products as well as EUC’s IT implementation and support of our public sector sales teams. This position will report to the General Counsel and will work closely with the public sector sales team and help identify and assess current and emerging opportunities within a key set of policy priorities that will focus on policies that impact EUC’s

federal business.

Core Responsibilities:

• Government Relations: You will develop and implement a strategy to best position EUC, with a specific focus on public sector business priorities before Congress and the Administration/federal government agencies while partnering with key internal

stakeholders.

• Public Sector and IT Federal Procurement Development: You should possess the knowledge and skills to develop and lead our efforts to support our public sector strategy to Congress and the Administration on Federal IT procurement policies.

• Policy Advocacy: You will advocate on all levels of the federal government including Congressional offices on both sides of the political spectrum, as well as the Administration and federal agencies.

• Thought Leadership: You will create opportunities for EUC executives, public sector leaders and technical experts to be recognized as leaders of IT thought. This could include opportunities to testify before Congress, participate in conferences and speeches,

and to ensure a “seat at the table” for all relevant policy discussions.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• 10+ years of experience in the government sector/government relations

• Significant understanding of and experience in the public policy and legislative process at the federal level.

• Focus on procurement policy is a plus

• Exemplary communication skills (both written and verbal)

Location: DC strongly preferred. Open to US
