The Role
As the Sales Operations Manager at Mathpix, you will have a crucial role in shaping our sales strategy and processes as we continue to grow. You’ll be given a lot of freedom to create and implement your own strategies to drive operational efficiency and sales effectiveness. We need someone who is self-driven, always learning, and comfortable wearing multiple hats as we scale. Key Responsibilities • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop sales forecasting, quota setting, and territory design to ensure maximum efficiency. • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain our CRM, create dashboards, and deliver data-driven insights to guide decision-making. • Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement improvements that drive productivity. • Sales Technology Management: Evaluate and manage our sales tech stack, including CRM tools and sales automation. • Compensation & Quota Management: Design and manage sales incentive plans to motivate the team and ensure accurate quota allocation. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and smooth operations. • Sales Enablement: Provide the sales team with the tools, training, and resources they need to close deals and achieve targets. • Scaling the Sales Org: Help plan for new hires and expand our sales infrastructure as we continue to grow.

What We're Looking For • A problem solver who can break down complex issues and streamline processes. • Data-driven mindset with experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics. • Self-starter who’s excited by the opportunity to build something from the ground up. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams. • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms. • Strong understanding of sales operations best practices, with the ability to implement and iterate. • Growth mindset – willing to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
