Ideally this person will have 7+ years property management experience managing multiple property managers and maintenance teams. There is currently 60 buildings on the portfolio and growing, experience with supporting a portfolio this size is a must.


Onsite: mixture of in-office and onsite

Salary: $100k-$125k plus discretionary bonus


Job Description

  • Ensure adherence to city state and local laws including DOB, HPD, ECB, Department of Health
  • Supervise and direct daily activities (repairs/cleaning/supplies etc) for all maintenance and facilities staff throughout the entire portfolio
  • Assist with the formal bidding, solicitation and contracting projects for unit renovations, capital projects & budgets (Boilers, Roofs, Basements, Apartment units)
  • Oversee all the property Managers, supers and doorman throughout portfolio to ensure all work is completed as per management's expectations
  • Maintain relationship with vendors
  • Cure all violations throughout the portfolio and monitor all dismissal requests and appointments with HPD
  • Monitor and make sure the portfolios is in adherence for DHCR Compliance – RSA Safety, Compliance & Multiple Dwelling Registration compliance
  • Monitoring entire portfolio vacates and turnovers
  • Help recruit new contractors or vendors to keep prices competitive
