My client is a 3 billion dollar, global manufacturing leader within the specialty chemical industry. They have thousands of patents and a portfolio with applications across the textile, flooring, chemical and healthcare businesses.


This position is responsible for the daily management, performance of the department in the areas of safety, environment, quality, delivery, cost, and morale.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure batchsheets are followed and correctly documented.
  • Perform informal audits of batchsheets and reactions in process..
  • Ensure training systems are adequate.
  • Help investigations of off quality including implementation of corrective action.
  • Develop and train production associates.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred)
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Background in chemical manufacturing
