Job Description: We are seeking a Windows OS Desktop Support specialist to provide end-user support and assist with technical issues related to the Windows operating system. The role involves local and network installations, troubleshooting internet connectivity, device management, and basic hardware/software configurations. You will interact directly with customers to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently and accurately.
Day-to-Day Job Duties:
- Provide desktop support for Windows operating systems, including local and network installations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Internet Explorer, TCP/IP, DHCP, Device Manager, Registry Editor, and User Manager.
- Install and configure hardware and software.
- Communicate with customers to quickly identify and address their issues.
- Offer timely and accurate feedback to customers.
- Guide customers through troubleshooting steps and follow up to ensure resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
- Proficient with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, or Mac OS.
Nice to Have:
- Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
