Our World Class Client (or Eliassen Group) is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze, define, and prioritize business requirements and functional or operational specifications for moderate to large projects of increasing complexity. Provides consultation to all areas of IT and business management for the application of technology to support business opportunities and planning and implementation of cross-functional applications or systems.


Salary Range: $55.00 - $65.00/hr. (DOE) + Health, Dental, Vision, 401k Matching, etc.

“W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.”


Requirements:

  • Exp BA – who has Product Manager/BA – financial industry– security/mortgage backed security experience-based background
  • Write User Stories
  • User Acceptance criteria – signoff process
  • Client facing – good in communication – can interact with the client
  • Senior role – mid level management role – works with UAT ops team, dev team, QA team
  • 4 year degree, Agile certs as Product Owner
  • Queries/database – functional expert
  • Enterprise level experience
  • Mortgage backed securities, government exp, tech exp, Freddie, Fannie are all pluses
  • 8 to 10 years solid BA, Razor sharp smart, understanding of req development tech design docs need to be spot on with govt requirements, good writer of requirements, understanding of application development.
  • There is a lot unknown of how the apps were built decade ago. No one really understands the app and how it was built. No documentation.
  • Someone who likes to research.
  • Strong technical writing experience
  • Focus of role is much heavier as a BA with some understanding of what a PM’s role is
  • Project is still in the process of migrating from waterfall to agile
  • Will be a part of a scrum team with 2 week sprint cycles
  • Will use Jira for user stories and RDD is captured in a Word doc
  • Candidates with a technical writing background is a bonus
  • Candidates with any PM experience is a bonus
  • Previous experience in a financial services or government background (mortgage-backed security) is highly preferred
  • Nice to have tech skills include: SQL queries, PowerBI, Crystal reporting
