We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join an expanding behavioral health department in New York City. This position is ideal for a professional with strong clinical skills and a commitment to serving the adult population in a community health setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver intensive, integrated mental health services, including therapy and treatment planning, within a clinical or outpatient environment.
  • Establish and maintain clinical practice guidelines and develop collaborative care links with the center's primary and complementary care systems.
  • Work closely with primary care providers to ensure continuity of care for patients, coordinating and integrating behavioral health services.
  • Lead in determining appropriate therapeutic approaches and methods. Plan and implement outreach and education programs, workshops, and activities.
  • Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to clients and families.
  • Develop treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs.
  • Offer therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience highly preferred, with a focus on HIV and/or community/behavioral health.
