While experience explosive growth, they are eager to bring in an Account Manager which is a unique blend of sales and customer support, product management, and purchasing and product lifecycle management.

Salary range between 70-85k plus bonus.

This individual MUST work full time IN OFFICE, M-F.


Position: Account Manager – Buying Team This role offers you a unique opportunity to gain an inside understanding of the toy industry, one of the most thrilling and continually changing fields. We are seeking a motivated candidate who is deadline-oriented, eager for growth, and a team player excited to contribute to the creation of the “next big thing” for children.


Key Responsibilities: As the Account Manager for your retailers, you will oversee the complete product life cycle. Your duties will include collaborating with the creative team to develop product ranges, participating in sales meetings with thorough note-taking, implementing necessary changes based on customer feedback, obtaining quotes, sourcing samples, negotiating prices with suppliers, and managing the full order process.

You will work alongside various departments, including design, overseas offices, factories, quality assurance, and major retail partners. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment. Strong analytical abilities, a keen eye for detail, and solid administrative skills are a must. Qualifications:

  • Business-related degree or a minimum of 3 years of experience in administration, sales support, or international buying.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to the sales team and address customer inquiries; excellent customer service is critical.
  2. Facilitate effective communication between departments.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in data entry and management.
  4. Complete line lists, quotations, and stay current with customer portals.
  5. Update "work in progress" reports regularly.
  6. Set up items in our internal specification systems, requiring meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Communicate with overseas offices and factories effectively, accommodating different time zones.
  8. Negotiate pricing with international suppliers.
  9. Perform margin reporting and analysis.
  10. Place and track purchase orders along with their manufacturing progress.
  11. Review and approve artwork.
  12. Request information and samples from suppliers and overseas offices.
  13. Ensure the testing and approval of manufactured samples.
  14. Brief and debrief teams effectively.
  15. Contribute to both internal and external meetings.
  16. Take clear and precise notes.
  17. Manage the entire process from concept to delivery.
  18. Showcase problem-solving skills and a self-starter attitude.
  19. Maintain weekly reports.
