Summary of Job:


Lee Company is seeking a motivated, self-driven person for the role of Claims Administrator. This position will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Legal Affairs by managing insurance claims and processes, overseeing relationships with insurance adjusters, and ensuring the proper investigation and filing of claims. The Claims Administrator will act as a liaison between Lee Company employees and the Legal and Risk Department regarding worker’s compensation, auto, and general liability insurance claims, procedures, and investigations. This position involves reviewing and directing new claims for timely resolution and maintaining accurate records of all claim-related activities. Additionally, the Claims Administrator will review and report on claim trends, assisting the Director of Legal Affairs in identifying emerging issues. This role must display an effective ability to discuss and answer typical claims handling questions that may arise.



Education and Experience:

  • Level of Education: High School Diploma
  • Years of Experience: 3+ years’ experience with commercial multi-line insurance claims to include auto, general liability, and worker’s compensations claims. Preferably in a large employer or insurance company setting.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong technical aptitude, creativity, and ability to research and solve complex issues.
  • Interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Critical thinking skills, including logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team atmosphere and being an individual contributor with individual projects, deadlines, and accountabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where requirements are constantly changing.
  • Possess a team player mentality that values contributing to the overall goals of the organization, regardless of the role asked to perform.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Flexible to adjust to changing priorities based on the business needs
