Role Description
This is a part-time to full-time on-site role for a Student Services Advisor at our Lincoln, NE location. The Student Services Advisor will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students, conducting academic advising sessions, offering student counseling services, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Student Services Advisor will play a critical role in ensuring student success and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and excellent customer service abilities
- Experience in student counseling and providing academic advising
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students
- Proficient in computer skills and familiarity with educational technology
- Knowledge of academic policies and procedures
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse student populations
- Associate, Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field
- Experience in higher education or student services is a plus
