Job Overview:
We are seeking a detailoriented Accounts Payable Administrator with significant experience in managing accounts payable processes and knowledge of federal housing regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting either through a BA degree in Accounting or a minimum of one year of financial management experience. Confidentiality and accuracy are key in this role as you will be handling sensitive financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process a high volume of accounts payable invoices and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal housing regulations in all accounts payable functions.
  • Maintain accurate records of payments and invoices ensuring timely processing.
  • Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial data and transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BA degree in Accounting or a minimum of 1 year of financial management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes with the ability to manage heavy AP workloads.
  • Familiarity with federal housing regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the housing or real estate sector.
  • Knowledge of accounting software

Contract Duration: 6 months
Schedule: MF 9am 5pm
