Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to providing unparalleled customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the process of designing and purchasing custom AV solutions tailored to their unique needs. This position will develop relationships with current and potential clients, architects, designers, home builders, realtors, and other industry stakeholders to facilitate the sale of integrated system design and installation services. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their specific AV needs and preferences.
  • Provide expert consultation on customized AV solutions, including home theaters, smart home automation, lighting control, motorized window treatments, multi-room audio systems, and alarm monitoring.
  • Work closely with the project manager and installers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects.
  • Proactively generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and schedule consultations with prospective clients.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, including product recommendations, system layouts, and pricing.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in AV technology and luxury home solutions to provide clients with cutting-edge options.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and network with potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress in CRM software.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the luxury market, AV integration, home automation, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, smart home technology, and the luxury home market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with AV design software is a plus.
  • Ability to travel locally for client consultations and site visits.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in AV technology (e.g., CEDIA, CTS) is an advantage.
  • Experience with brands and systems commonly used in high-end AV installations (e.g., Crestron, Control4, Savant).
