Duration:- 02 Months

Pay rate:- $22/hr - $28/hr on W2 without any benefits

Shift timings:- 8:30 am-4:30 pm with two paid 20-minute breaks, 4 days per week to start. If the person is strong, could move to 5 days


Description:

  • The HR Assistant will provide day-to-day HR transactions and will the point of contact to employees supporting the Winston-Salem plants with HR administration processes, employee information, personnel files, employee communications, and employment processing including onboarding.


Essential Functions:

  • Maintain the Human Resources information system including input of data, researching data for reports and management information.
  • Support the recruitment, employment and hiring process working with the talent acquisition team, facilitate HR portion of new hire orientation as well as new employee surveys. Assist with in person hourly training initiatives.
  • Employee record keeping, filing, develop personnel records for new hires, process termination file and file maintenance to include archiving older files.
  • Assist management with event coordination as needed. Schedule meetings, set up lunches, service awards and other employee engagement activities etc.


Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or Human Resources
  • Three plus years’ experience working in human resources or similar environment.
  • Understanding and ability to keep information confidential.
  • Extremely organized, detailed and focused with processing data.
  • Ability/experience in coordinating and facilitating employee training.
  • Excellent data entry and systems experience along with Microsoft Office skills and experience
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, initiative and drive
