Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and promptly identify changes in patient condition
  • Provide crisis intervention and management
  • Deliver continuous patient and family education
  • Coordinate appropriate discharge planning
  • Contribute to departmental meetings and hospital committees
Requirements:
  • Current NYS Nursing License
  • Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced setting
Qualifications:
  • ACLS/BLS certifications
  • Preferred: TNCC, ENPC, or CEN
  • Previous experience in ED or Critical Care
  • Completion of Basic Coronary Care Course within 8 months of hire
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
