Job Title: Director of Payroll Manager Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Director of Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across the organization, while leading the payroll team and partnering with HR, Finance, and Operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, deep payroll knowledge, and proven experience managing payroll functions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Direct and manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Oversee payroll staff, providing leadership, training, and performance management. Develop, implement, and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and systems. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to align payroll with employee data, benefits, and reporting requirements. Audit payroll data regularly to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Manage relationships with payroll vendors, tax authorities, and auditors. Review payroll reports for OT, Regular, Holiday Pay Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and wage & hour laws. Experience with payroll software systems (Empeon) Proven track record of leading and developing payroll teams. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Preferred Experience: Experience working in healthcare, skilled nursing, or multi-location environments. Hands-on involvement in payroll system implementation or conversions. Knowledge of union contracts and payroll compliance in a regulated industry.
