Position Summary:

This position is responsible to buy in product or service that the organization may need to carry out business and operate as necessary. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee all functions of the Purchasing Department and source whatever the business requires or searches for better deals and more profitable suppliers on a worldwide scale with a need to be cost effective, while also dealing with other factors such as sustainability, risk management and ethical issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle specifications, bid analysis, invoice auditing, and expediting for various materials.
  • Manage inventory, material requisitions, purchase/change orders and maintain updated status reports within our ERP system.
  • Assist engineers and project managers with budgetary pricing, contract administration, and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of goods.
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring cost control and scheduling.
  • Verify that all contract administration procedures are executed professionally and accurately.
  • Manage budgets effectively to avoid delays and additional costs.
  • Responsible for procurements of goods and services for the organizations.
  • Manage internal inventory using the Kanban process.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management or MBA from an accredited university.
  • previous experience in a manufacturing company preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to work in a schedule-driven environment.
  • Positive attitude, team player, strong problem-solving abilities, and independence in managing tasks.
  • Fluent in English.
