Quality Assurance Manager

We're working with a custom food manufacturer to help the identify an experienced QA Manager who will lead a team responsible fthat our food products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with USDA regulations. This is a critical role for the organization, as quality assurance is essential to maintaining our reputation and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the head of R&D, the successful candidate will develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures, oversee all aspects of quality control, including quality inspections, product testing, and documentation and lead quality audits to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans. This person will be tasked with revamping and maintaining a robust QA/QC program to monitor and evaluate product performance.


This role could be for you if you:

  • Are a strong "boots on the ground" type of leader
  • Have experience building a QA department
  • Have worked in USDA & BRC facilities, preferably with the meat manufacturer
  • Have a Degree in Microbiology (preferred)


This position is located in the northern Chicagoland and offers a competitive base and bonus.
