ASSYST is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual who has a knack for writing, presenting, engaging, and producing artifacts that effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, technical aptitude, and strong attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and product management to gather information and insights necessary for crafting high-quality responses to RFIs, RFPs, and other technical documents.
  • Analyze RFI/RFP requirements and develop detailed outlines, templates, and schedules to guide the proposal development process.
  • Research, write, and edit technical content, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to validate technical information and incorporate their input into proposal responses.
  • Review and revise draft proposals for clarity, consistency, and coherence, adhering to established brand guidelines and formatting standards.
  • Collaborate with proposal coordinators, graphic designers, and other team members to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of proposal documents.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to inform and improve proposal content and messaging.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in technical writing, with a focus on responding to RFIs, RFPs, and similar documents within the technology sector.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions, including software applications, cloud services, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, persuasive, and customer-focused language.
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other document management tools.
