Plumbing Project Engineer

Our client is a leader in the engineering sector specializing in the design installation and maintenance of commercial and industrial HVAC refrigeration plumbing process piping and building automation systems. They are currently seeking a Plumbing Project Engineer to join their innovative team.
This role is vital for orchestrating all technical activities on assigned plumbing projects under the guidance of the Sales Manager and the daily direction of designated Project Managers. The successful candidate will ensure projects are executed smoothly adhering to codes and standards while fostering effective communication among all project stakeholders.
Plumbing Project Engineer Job Responsibilities- Coordinate engineering work on assigned projects ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
- Facilitate communication among project team members and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project .
- Support Project Managers in tasks such as takeoff estimating billing and closeout documentation.
- Assist in drafting proposals memos and other projectrelated documents fostering internal departmental relationships.
- Survey existing buildings for retrofit opportunities gathering data on energy use and structural characteristics.
- Develop preliminary designs for budgeting purposes and provide technical support throughout construction efforts.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Department for the seamless integration of scope pricing and delivery of purchased items.
- Coordinate installation procedures among engineering construction teams and stakeholders managing onsite progress and operational challenges.
- Handle administrative tasks efficiently including document control and procurement logs ensuring projects progress on schedule and within budget.
- Actively engage with customers contractors and subcontractors attending meetings and providing detailed instructions to meet project expectations.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Must have experience in plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively and persevere through challenges with minimal supervision.
- Effective teamwork skills and an understanding of organizational strategies.
- Technical curiosity and strong problemsolving skills with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Physical ability to sit stand operate devices walk climb stoop kneel and lift weights up to 30 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision.
