Our client is looking for a skilled Real Estate Litigation Paralegal. This role is designed for a professional who is experienced in managing complex real estate disputes and is proficient with legal software tools such as Relativity and PACER. The successful candidate will assist in all phases of litigation, from the initial case investigation to trial, and post-trial appeals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys in real estate litigation matters, including foreclosures, landlord-tenant disputes, and boundary issues.
  • Manage and maintain case files in Relativity; ensure timely updating and organization of legal documents and correspondence.
  • Utilize PACER to track and retrieve federal court documents and file court documents electronically.
  • Assist with the preparation of pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations; organize exhibits, files, and all other supporting documents.


Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Certified Paralegal (CP) or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) credentials are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with substantial experience in real estate litigation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Relativity for document management in a legal setting and familiarity with PACER.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of real estate law and litigation procedures.
