Overall Position Summary and Objectives:

We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the Carefree studies. This role involves interfacing with asthma patients and normal volunteers, including contact and follow-up. Responsibilities include data collection and recording, communication with study PIs, data entry into RedCap and CRIS, and summary data retrieval. CITI training completion is required before engaging with patients/participants.


Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist

Skills

  • Spirometry
  • Entering data into research databases, systems, and applications
  • Scheduling and coordinating visits and tests
  • Screening prospective study subjects and scheduling participants
  • Verifying study participant information and collecting data

Software:

  • Microsoft Office

Field of Study:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain clinical research data files and materials.
  • Prepare and submit accurate source documents related to research procedures.
  • Ensure completion of Case Report Forms (CRFs) and document research participant conditions.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation for the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
  • Assist with study testing, data entry, and other study-related duties.
  • Collect and prepare research data for analysis.
  • Maintain logs and records of patient and family contacts.
  • Provide continuity of care to patients on assigned protocols.
  • Ensure clinical research activities comply with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
  • Plan and coordinate the initiation of research study protocols.
