Role Description

This is a full-time role for an experienced Sous Chef at Saltwater Cowboys. The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and kitchen staff management. They will collaborate with the Executive Chef to create new dishes, ensure high-quality food and presentation, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety. This is an on-site role located in Mount Pleasant, SC.


***Willing to assist with relocation.


Qualifications

  • Leadership Ability and Cooking skills
  • Experience in managing kitchen staff and maintaining food quality standards
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food presentation
  • Ability to adapt to changing menus and prioritize tasks
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Food Handlers Certification is a plus
  • Management Food Handlers Certification is a plus
