Position Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 12+ months and extended up to 24 months
Rate: $20/hr on W2
Deskside Engineer roles & Responsibilities:
Analyze and resolve complex issues related to desktop systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement system solutions that enhance overall operational efficiency.
Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify root causes of desktop support issues.
Implement and manage updates, patches, and configurations to desktop systems to ensure security and functionality.
Provide detailed documentation and reports on incidents, resolutions, and system changes to maintain transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in desktop support and remote assistance tools to recommend improvements.
Offer guidance and training to users on new systems or software, enhancing their understanding and ability to resolve minor issues independently.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all desktop support activities.
Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, contributing technical expertise and insights.
Monitor system performance, making recommendations for upgrades or changes to meet future needs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve issues promptly.
Proven experience with desktop operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with remote assistance tools and technologies is essential.
A proactive approach to system maintenance and the ability to anticipate potential issues before they arise.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and commitment to the company goals.
