Daycare Attendant

By becoming a Daycare Attendant you will spend your days playing with and supervising Dogs in our large outdoor Yard. This position also includes daily husbandry such as feeding, medicating, bathing, and cleaning up after the Dogs.

How you will make a difference:

You will ensure that the Bark Collective Vision, Values and Client experience is being upheld by:

  • Overseeing the care of and adequate exercise for dogs that have been screened and trained by our team prior to becoming part of the Bark Collective
  • Monitoring the free-play daycare yard while maintaining safety and engagement
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for all dogs coming to Bark Collective
  • General husbandry for all dogs including feeding, medication, health-checks
  • Managing Client Care and Communication face to face with Clientele
  • Assisting in the on boarding and training of new Day Care Attendants

*Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements For Success:

  • Previous animal related experience a plus
  • Must be a dog lover
  • Fluent English Speaker
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Clean driving record
  • Be physically able to walk multiple dogs for up to 1 hour at a time including up hills, on the beach, etc.
  • Must be comfortable with general care of dogs including feeding, cleanup (yep picking up poop), and administering medical treatment

Job Type: Part-time & Full- time opportunities available. Must be available to work Weekends.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour dependent upon experience

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Must have a minimum of one year of prior experience, and a basic understanding of canine behavior and corrective actions.
