Bark Collective is a full service training, pack walking, boarding and daycare company that prides itself in the quality of care for our employees, dogs, and high end clientele.

Dog Trainer

By becoming a Dog Trainer you will spend your days active inside our Facility and outdoors in the community with the dogs. From basic obedience to behavior modification, this position involves being hands on with each dog while teaching them to become a good canine citizen.

How you will make a difference:

You will ensure that the Bark Collective Vision, Values and Client experience is being upheld by:

  • Assessing each dogs individual needs and behavior so that you can create a training plan and offer training tools that suit their needs.
  • Managing Client Care and Communication face to face with Clientele.
  • Leading in-person and at home training sessions.
  • Working with dogs in our board & train program.
  • Utilize balanced training to help a dog achieve their training goals.

*Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements For Success:

  • Must be a dog lover
  • Fluent English Speaker
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Clean driving record
  • Be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk multiple dogs for up to 1 hour at a time including up hills.
  • Must be comfortable with general care of dogs including feeding, cleanup (yep picking up poop)

Job Type: Part-time & Full- time opportunities available. Must be available to work Weekends.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour dependent upon experience

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Basic understanding of canine behavior is a plus.
