Remote Medical Customer Service RepresentativeResponsibilities include conducting professional interviews and follow-up calls to gather personal and medical information. Review documents to obtain additional information and accurately enter data into the Application Interview System and Assistant Underwriting System. Provide accurate, prompt, and professional service to all inquiries and communicate App Assist policies effectively.Essential skills include three years of administrative or customer service experience, strong communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, and medical knowledge. Additional skills include three years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center, and solid medical vocabulary.The position is remote, with shifts from Monday to Friday, either 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. Candidates must have the ability to connect a computer to a router and maintain a private office space. The team consists of 7-10 case managers, and the initial phase involves learning through customer interviews. The company offers a massive office environment with over 400 employees, and the opportunity to transition to a permanent position with benefits.This is a contract position based out of Frederick, Maryland, with a pay range of $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
