We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join a client in Fremont. This role is a 6-Month Contract position. The position is 100% onsite at their Fremont location. Hours for the role are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Operations Analyst will be responsible for the following job duties.

* Convert raw data into easily readable tables and summaries.

* Provide data and insights to enable building of tools that support decision-making for strategic business initiatives.

* Use knowledge of data visualization best practices to create and optimize Tableau dashboards, providing users a concise and effective view into key metrics.

* Work closely with Process Engineering team colleagues to incorporate data into WMS logic when designing warehouse process improvements.

* Support evidence-based project proposals through analysis of operations logs.

* Verify accuracy and consistency of data records.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree (or working toward) in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

* Experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment logistics, and/or grocery retail.

* Thorough understanding of work measurement programs such as MTM and MOST, and time study techniques.

* Experience in process improvement (familiarity with frameworks/methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, etc.)

* Proficiency in SQL, Python, data manipulation, and analysis.

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.

* Experience using Tableau.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Proven ability to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.


Desired Skills and Experience
