Job Description and Duties

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Analyst to join our team in the Department of Transportation. The successful candidate will assist with producing and analyzing technical and complex reports for the District regarding Personnel Year (PY) and Personnel Service Dollars (PS$) allocation, expenditures, and projections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and monitor hiring requests from Resource Managers
  • Assist with producing and analyzing technical and complex reports
  • Process personnel data and perform data analysis
  • Develop and implement business processes to improve efficiency and productivity

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions

This position is located in Oakland, Alameda County. The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee's designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions.
