The ideal candidate is a proven "rainmaker" with extensive experience in multi-family construction development and a deep understanding of financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's development and financial strategies, focusing on growth and profitability. Drive the vision and direction for multi-family construction projects and align them with corporate objectives.
- Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, leveraging a strong network of industry contacts. Build and maintain relationships with investors, developers, brokers, and other key stakeholders.
- Financial Management: Develop and implement financial strategies to support development goals. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for projects. Optimize investment returns and manage risks effectively.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of professionals across development and finance functions. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics. Utilize insights to inform strategic decision-making and project planning.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all development activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with projects and financial investments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in real estate development, with a strong focus on multi-family construction projects. Proven track record as a "rainmaker" with the ability to generate business and drive growth.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong financial acumen and expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of multi-family construction development processes and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain high-level relationships within the industry.
