The shift leader's responsibilities include creating a shift schedule, inventory management, ordering supplies, dealing with no-shows, delegating tasks, handling cash up, and reporting any issues to operations.


To be successful as a Restaurant Manager, you should be able to manage a team of people and ensure that all duties are performed accurately. A manager should be able to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.


Manager Responsibilities:


  • · Managing employees, assigning duties, and creating a shift schedule.


  • · Monitoring team performance and ensuring duties are performed efficiently.


  • · Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to management.


  • · Ensuring compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards.


  • · Coaching team members and training new staff.


  • · General cleaning of front of house machines daily


  • · Opening and closing registers, accounting for the daily intake.


  • · Handling customer issues and employee disputes.



Education/Experience:


  • · High school diploma/GED


  • · Food Handlers Certification


  • · At least 1 year experience as a Restaurant or Bakery Manager or in a similar role.


  • · Experience creating shift schedules.


  • · Excellent communication and people skills.


  • · Strong leadership and organizational skills.


  • · Confident analytical person.


  • · Collaborator.
