We are working with our client Lotfey Dennett in seeking a Commercial Insurance Inside Sales Executive to be based in their Portland, Maine office. Hybrid schedule available.



Requirements of the Commercial Insurance Inside Sales Executive:

  • 3+ years of experience within commercial lines division of an independent insurance agency or insurance carrier and strong technical knowledge of commercial lines products.
  • P&C license preferred. If candidate does not have license, Lotfey Dennett will provide support in attaining license.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and ability to learn and embrace new technologies.
  • Experience with EZLynx Management System or other CRM.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good judgement on means of effective communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Insurance Inside Sales Executive:

  • Work with the commercial lines team, agency clients, and insurance carrier underwriters to assist with the growth and retention of commercial clients.
  • Provide dedicated customer support through a consultative approach to meet customer and agency needs.
  • Manage new business quotes as assigned.
  • Prospect small commercial account opportunities and follow up accordingly.
  • Seek opportunities to round out existing accounts coverages to fill voids in the customer portfolio.
  • Maintain product knowledge and monitor industry trends to provide a high level of service for a variety of clients with varying needs.
  • Maintain prospect, client, and policy information in a timely, accurate manner in EZLynx.
