Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Specialist in Paramount, CA.
As a Quality Specialist, you will:
Conduct contract reviews and generate job cards, ensuring compliance with customer purchase orders and relevant specifications.
Enter new work orders into Oracle and transfer information to the internal ERP system.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of certification packages.
Serve as a liaison to resolve customer issues related to pricing discrepancies, quantities, work scope, or part marking.
Maintain and organize all relevant specifications, documents, and the specification library.
Conduct internal audits and support backend quality processes, including certification packets.
Promptly respond to customer requests for corrected certifications or documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, quality, engineering, and shipping) to enhance customer satisfaction.
Create job folders, print shop floor documentation, and scan and file closed orders.
Assist other departments during reduced workloads and perform additional duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Oracle (preferred).
1+ years of office experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
1+ years of data entry experience (strongly preferred).
This is a full-time opportunity.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
