Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Technician in Paramount, CA.

As a Quality Technician, you will:

Perform routine sampling, measurements, and verifications to ensure manufactured products meet quality standards.
Review router accuracy and compliance with purchase orders, process specifications, and customer requirements.
Perform and document equipment calibrations, including heat treat furnaces, using proper check sheets and procedures.
Maintain calibration standards and ensure the availability of thermocouples for heat treat operations.
Review material certifications to confirm approval for use by the Quality Department.
Ensure purchase order requirements and applicable specifications are accurately reflected on shop routers.
Enter purchase order data into the shop traveler system to generate shop routers.
Notify customers of any discrepancies between purchase orders and receiving slips.
Communicate quality inquiries and concerns to customers in a timely manner.
Assist with clerical and administrative tasks such as sending emails, filing, and maintaining documentation for material processing specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned to support quality assurance processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or GED.
1+ years of aerospace manufacturing or processing experience.
Experience with Oracle systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and purchase orders.
Familiarity with shop travelers and work instructions.
Furnace combustion experience is a plus.

This is a full-time opportunity.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
