This position is responsible for overseeing all the activities related to ordering, receiving, storing and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies and products. This role will work closely with management, develop and improve existing procedures and policies, and prevent losses. Other responsibilities include maintaining storage facilities, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, compiling balance, price and cost reports, and doing daily cycle counts of all products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tracking inventory maintenance and performing system entries to maintain inventory accuracy or ensuring inventory records are current.
  • Controlling flows of equipment and supplies.
  • Physically managing inventory inside the warehouse.
  • Reporting to management and advising on process improvements.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Developing loss mitigation processes and protocols includes researching and resolving keyed issues, adjustments, and discrepancies.
  • Training less experienced inventory workers.
  • Compiling inventory reports.
  • Addressing any problems, obstacles or challenges.
  • Forecasting future inventory requirements.
  • Metrics reporting and documenting performance.
  • Perform other tasks assigned such as kitting and shipping.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years' experience in an inventory/stockroom environment and ERP systems.
  • Basic computer and software skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and excels in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
