Junior Content Creator

Job Description:
The Fold is a dynamic and innovative production company dedicated to creating high-quality video content. We pride ourselves on our creative approach and collaborative environment. We are seeking a talented Junior Video Content Creator to join our team to help, edit, shoot, and deliver content for clients and social channels. Along with making yourself familiar with our library of assets and assisting in their utilization and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of video content from concept to completion.
- Support senior producers with project management and coordination.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop, execute, and edit engaging video content.
- Help manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of content.
- Own the filming, editing, and post-production processes.
- Maintain high-quality standards and brand consistency.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues.
Daily Tasks:
- Editing and reviewing footage under the guidance of senior producers.
- Educating yourself on current industry tactics and standards of editing.
- Supporting shoot days, including setup and breakdown.
- Assisting in directing the crew and talent during shoots.
- Staying updated with industry trends and new technologies.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in video production or a related field (internships, freelance work, school, etc.).
- Basic understanding of video production processes.
- Proficiency in video and photo software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, Photoshop).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation. (Willing to learn on the job.)
- Basic knowledge of cinematography and lighting techniques.
- Experience working with clients in various industries.
Compensation
- $22/hr (anticipated 10-15 hrs/week)

Additional Details:
We are looking for someone with a desire to learn and grow in the company. To take on larger role editing as we continue to grow.
We have camera equipment available for use on each project but applicants are welcome to use their own gear if desired.
We would love to start with this retainer to cover events month to month with the hope and expectation of growth as we hope to expand our marketing team.
