Crofton, United States Fine Point Construction Full time

Fine Point Construction is a small niche residential construction company currently seeking a team player with a can-do attitude to provide in-house construction office coordination and support of projects in the field. This candidate should be knowledgeable of Buildertrend. This position is responsible for providing office support to the field superintendents, collecting price quotes/lead times on materials, ordering & tracking of materials, maintaining online project files, updating schedules & project information in Buildertrend, etc.


Major Responsibilities:

Updating and maintaining current information in Buildertrend.

Providing office support to the field superintendent(s) on multiple jobs.

Daily correspondence/communication with field superintendents.

Collecting price quotes/lead times on materials for multiple projects.

Email/phone correspondence with vendors, subcontractors, designers/architects, clients, etc. as required.

Ordering & tracking of materials (i.e. plumbing fixtures, hardware, electrical fixtures, etc.)

Assisting in the creation of job binders to hand off to field superintendents

Applying for permits as needed.

Ensuring we have the proper paperwork and documentation on file for superintendents.

Standard office tasks: copying, scanning, filing, printing, answering the phone

Notifying appropriate person(s) of incoming deliveries/packages to the office and coding them to correct job.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.

Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to multitask.

Experience in Buildertrend software (at least one year)

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Experience with Microsoft OneDrive

Willingness to learn and a positive attitude

Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
