The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the human resources function. This includes overseeing recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with

employment laws and regulations. The HR Manager serves as a strategic partner to the organization, aligning HR practices with business objectives to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the industry.
  • Oversee the entire hiring process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and extending offers.
  • Develop and manage onboarding programs to ensure new employees are successfully integrated into the organization.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Weekly Payroll processing
  • Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and equitable.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws.
  • Conduct periodic compensation and benefits surveys to stay abreast of market trends.
  • Works with brokers on annual renewals and open enrollment process

Performance Management:

  • Implement annual performance reviews
  • Provide coaching and support to managers to help them effectively manage their teams.
  • Work with managers on performance improvement plans as needed

Compliance and Policy Revisions:

  • Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are in compliance
  • Works with management team on handbook and policy revisions in alignment with company goals and values

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. (FLSA, USCIS, DOL, FMLA, and multi-state state guidelines
  • Excellent interpersonal, judgment, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Paylocity and Google Suite is a plus
  • Experience working for a marketing organization or agency that focuses on paid media and analytics is highly preferred
