Responsibilities:
This individual will manage projects and project teams to develop comprehensive permit applications and obtain environmental permits and approvals for a wide range of public and private projects. You will work with the regulatory agencies, beginning early in project design to confirm the regulatory process, potential environmental impacts, and unique requirements for the project, in addition to communicating directly with clients to ensure success in all phases of work.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree in environmental science, planning, policy, or a related field
- 10+ years of environmental planning experience, ideally in Washington
- Ability to lead and produce documents on a range of environmental permitting projects
- Experience with federal, state, and local permitting
- Strong familiarity with SEPA and NEPA documentation
