Who We’re Looking For

Melissa Wood Health is seeking a highly creative and skilled digital designer and content creator to join the MWH team. This unique role will be instrumental in preserving and evolving the integrity and consistency of the MWH brand through digital design and social media content creation. You will be responsible for the design of creative projects including but not limited to: emails, social media assets, web and APP design, photo retouching and color correction, video typography and animation, print collateral, as well as additional ad-hoc marketing requests. You will work in close partnership with our marketing, creative, production and tech team to collaborate and provide best-in-class design for all branded assets. The ideal candidate is highly creative, inspired and motivated, while being organized, technical and dedicated with a desire to collaborate and create with others.


Responsibilities:

  • Create beautiful branded integrated designs including but not limited to: weekly email designs, social assets, video graphics and more
  • Content creation for social assets, including IG reels, posts, stories, TikTok and YouTube
  • Support front-end web design updates to MelissaWoodHealth.com & the MWH App in partnership with the tech team
  • Follow creative and marketing schedules to manage time and prioritize daily workload
  • Keep and maintain digital archive of creative assets organized for the team


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Strong digital design sensibilities (Social, Web, App, Mobile, Video) and an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite experience (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) - any other graphic design/video editing tools such as Figma or CapCut a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic/digital design and 2-5 years of relevant experience in creative agency or in-house creative or marketing department at a brand
  • Strongly skilled in typography, composition and messaging hierarchy
  • Video Animation skills preferred
  • Ability to work independently and a self-starter who is motivated, passionate and curious
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led environment with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of craftsmanship, organization skills and detail-oriented problem solver
  • A love for brand development
  • Excellent design portfolio is a must
  • Interest in wellness, fitness, nutrition and fashion a plus
  • Hybrid: 3 days in office (SoHo)

The salary range for this role is between $65,000 and $75,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications and experience.
