Part of the Interparfums group founded in 1982, Interparfums USA develops, manufactures and distributes prestige perfumes and cosmetics as the exclusive worldwide licensee for Abercrombie & Fitch, Anna Sui, Dunhill, Graff, GUESS, Hollister, MCM, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo and Ungaro. Through its global distribution network, the Company’s products are sold in over 120 countries.


The Sales Intern is responsible for supporting daily operations for the Americas Sales team. This position will conduct market research, identify business opportunities, participate in meetings, and assist the Sales department on various projects.


To be considered for this internship, you must be enrolled at an accredited university as an incoming Junior, Senior, or Graduate student, or have graduated in Spring 2024. You must be able to work full-time hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm) from July 2024 through December 2024.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Sales Manager or assigned staff member and complete all allocated tasks.
  • Conduct desktop research or gather information through surveys or by speaking to clients and staff.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings and events.
  • Liaison with clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of the company’s managers.
  • Update documents and sales records.
  • Review sales performance against sales targets.
  • Observe and carry out sales processes.
  • Identify potential weaknesses and offer improvement suggestions.
  • Assist managers with negotiations.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite.


Education/Experience

  • Must be enrolled at an accredited university as an incoming Junior, Senior, or Graduate student, or a Spring 2024 graduate, with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous sales or business development experience required.
  • Must be able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work in-person during onsite work days (Monday through Thursday)
  • Must be able to work for a 6 month commitment.
