Job Description:

  • The Client is starting to build out an API channel and offer our services to our customers' customers (as a service business model).
  • Business analysts (preferably with background in APIs) as contractors for ~1824 months
  • Agile user stories, data requirements, API experience
  • Potential Contract to hire
  • Facilitating evaluation of business requirements for business application integration, service activation, delivering new or modified software systems enhancements.
  • Experience in the development of scope, goals, objectives and business and system requirements while ensuring complete traceability to project objectives.
  • Drive end to end production support incident management which includes identification of impacted areas/applications, coordinating client engagement and communication and driving the completion of root cause analysis.
  • Utility player with aspirations to become a product owner in an agile scrum team
  • Partner closely with product manager to document end to end business requirements for complex systems

Requirements:

  • Experience with APIs, microservices and/or embedded finance
  • Proficient at writing agile user stories
  • Proficient at tying requirements to an established process flow, ensuring that requirements are documented for each step of the client experience
  • Business Analyst experience working on the nontechnical side of the organization
  • Extensive experience soliciting, gathering, documenting, defining/translating and communicating requirements
  • Experience organizing and developing the test plan
  • Experience creating and executing test scripts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Functioning as Business Analyst and taking the lead in scheduling and directing communication with the technology teams, Product Owners and stakeholders.
  • Engaging with technical staff to move the project forward.
  • Compiling and presenting project schedules & project schedules to executive leadership.
  • Working with Agile teams to discuss user stories, status updates and impediments.
  • Taking the lead in interdepartmental and internal meetings to verify/update the status of the testing effort and the project.
  • Work with Business Users and Product Owners to develop testable user stories that can be used by developers and for verification.
  • Perform requirement analysis, going through all the use cases and workflows.
  • Responsible for updating Test Plans to meet the current and further changing business requirements.
  • Provide input working with users in defining project and system requirements.
  • Coordinating testing with other departments and maintaining documentation.

  • Education/Degree: Bachelor's Level Degree
