Business Analyst for Tax Technology.
Role will be located in either Montvale, NJ or Philadelphia PA - expected to come into the office twice a week.
Individual within this role will be responsible for:
Examining sets of data and documents to make informed conclusions.
Acting as a facilitator within an organization to make internal departments more efficient. Reporting data conclusions to a supervisor so appropriate judgment based on data can be made.
Identify user needs from user requests and develop strategies by which to meet those needs. Critically evaluate information from multiple sources and clearly indicate quality of final analysis. Communicate complex data in comprehensible ways.
Determine, implement, and evaluate business metrics to meet ongoing organizational or customer information needs.
Analyze and report on complex data to meet customer needs.
Qualification/Skills:
• Sharp critical-thinking skills to process huge amounts of information on a regular basis.
• Apply concepts, practices & procedures.
• Develop simple solutions to complex problems.
• Connect disparate ideas and identify common fact patterns.
• Communicate effectively with both technology and tax professionals.
• Works with minimal direction and able to lead and train others
• Background in accounting/tax preferred
• High level of expertise in required skill set
• For emerging skill sets, years of experience may matter less than depth of knowledge & expertise but traditionally may have 5-10 years of experience
Education: A university degree is preferred
