Ragle, Inc. is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to be a foundational part of our newly established in-house legal department. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with outside counsel on high-impact construction litigation cases, provide essential legal training to our operations team, and take the lead in refining our legal processes. What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with the attorney and outside counsel to review, edit, and modify contracts and non-disclosure agreements, flagging non-standard terms for further legal review.
  • Manage ongoing and potential construction litigation, including tracking litigation deadlines, placing and lifting legal holds, and coordinating all aspects of the litigation process with outside counsel.
  • Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, ensuring that all documentation is comprehensive and accessible.
  • Oversee the scheduling, calendars, and discovery processes, maintaining clear communication and alignment with outside counsel.
  • Draft legal documents, including routine pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories, and file these according to judicial procedures.
  • Conduct legal research, analyzing statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other sources; compile and provide written analysis to the attorney.
  • Assist in trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings alongside the attorney and outside counsel.
  • Provide legal training and guidance to the operations team on relevant legal matters and compliance requirements.
  • Bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, introducing new ideas and strategies to enhance legal processes and improve efficiency within the department.


What you need to have

  • Prior experience reviewing contracts and flagging non-standard terms for attorney review.
  • Prior experience managing corporate minute books and legal entity qualifications.
  • Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, particularly in construction litigation, and other related matters.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate highly preferred.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, time management, and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and be accountable for completing projects and helping keep others on track.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both in-house and outside counsel.
  • A go-getter mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to introduce new ideas to better processes.
  • Openness to feedback and direction, with a disposition to operate comfortably in a busy, sometimes deadline-driven, multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion and good judgment.
