Overview: Are you a seasoned cloud architect with expertise across 2 or more of Azure, AWS, and GCP? My client are looking for a Senior Multi-Cloud Architect to lead their cloud strategy and implementation efforts.


This role is suitable for someone with experience designing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions/platforms and possess extensive experience with DevOps, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and best practice architectural frameworks.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of multi-cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Develop and maintain architectural frameworks and best practices, including CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) and WAF (Well-Architected Framework).
  • Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and continuous deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure cloud architectures.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices across all cloud environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members on cloud technologies, DevOps, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance our multi-cloud strategy.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.


Requirements:

  • Solid amount of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with significant experience in public cloud
  • Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.
  • Extensive experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and GitLab.
  • Deep understanding of best practice architectural frameworks, including CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) and WAF (Well-Architected Framework).
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance best practices in multi-cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
